Lynne Downs

When Lynne was growing up her Dad kept marine fish, parrots, snakes and other reptiles so it was only natural that her childhood dream was to become a vet. Her own white Alsatian Zak gave her valuable experience of the responsibility in training, walking and caring for a dog.
Years later and with children of her own, Lynne took the opportunity to adopt two rabbits – Cuddles and Nibbles and when a kitten called Boo needed to be rescued and hand-reared, Lynne jumped at the chance (Boo is still going strong at 10).
For 25 years Lynne was part of a busy sales team and the demands of constant travelling plus raising her family meant that working with animals seemed a dream but last year the call to caring became too strong to resist so Lynne joined the team at Homes & Hounds and now she couldn’t be happier.
Lynne now holds a Certificate in Pet First Aid & CPR, has full Public Liability Insurance, has a Police Disclosure Certificate and offers a range of services including home boarding, regular and occasional dog walking, cat feeding, puppy visits, home visits for small pet care and a pet to vet taxi service.
